This 7-day guided road trip follows California's Pacific coast from San Francisco to Los Angeles. You will cross the Golden Gate Bridge, walk among giant redwoods at Muir Woods, drive the cliffside Highway 1 through Big Sur and finish on the beaches of Santa Monica. Your guide drives and plans every stop, so you can sit back and watch the coastline go by.
Good to know: The tour starts in San Francisco and ends in Los Angeles. Coastal mornings can be cool and foggy, so bring layers even in summer. Highway 1 through Big Sur can close after heavy rain, in which case your guide will use the best alternative route.

Monterey and Carmel
Head south down the coast to Monterey for its famous bay and wildlife. Drive the scenic 17-Mile Drive and stroll through the village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. -
DAY05
Big Sur and Santa Barbara
Drive the dramatic cliffside Highway 1 through Big Sur, with viewpoint stops at Bixby Bridge. Continue to Santa Barbara for a relaxed evening on the coast. -
DAY06
Santa Barbara to Los Angeles
Explore Santa Barbara's old mission and palm-lined waterfront, then drive to Los Angeles. Spend the evening at the Santa Monica Pier. -
DAY07
Departure from Los Angeles
Enjoy breakfast, then transfer to Los Angeles International Airport for your onward flight.
